Score Validity
-
The IELTS Score validity is 2 years for both the General and Academic tests. This means that your IELTS score will be accepted by universities, employers, and immigration authorities for a period of 2 years from the date of your test.
-
The IELTS score validity is the same for all test takers, regardless of their nationality or where they take the test. This is because the IELTS is a standardized test, which means that it is designed to be fair and consistent across all test takers.
-
There are a few exceptions to the 2-year IELTS score validity rule. For example, some universities may require a more recent IELTS score if you are applying for a competitive program. Additionally, some immigration authorities may require a more recent IELTS score if you are applying for permanent residency.
